I still have one (that will surprise nobody ) - not that I ever had any games for it much other than a handful like lemmings, defender of the crown perhaps.
If nobody else desperately wants a Vietnam flight sim it would give me an excuse to unbox it again. |

Re: anyone got an Amiga they still use?
I have two original boxed copies of FOTI, one for the Atari ST and one for the PC. Once I'd got used to 'flying' with an analogue stick on the PC, I couldn't get away with trying to use a switched stick for flight control.
FOTI was a 'hardcore' flight sim and one of the first that I can remember with comprehensive two player modes for two linked machines. Players could either take opposing sides (A6 or F-4 vs. Mig) or fly a mission on the same side with both players flying A6s, both flying F4s, or one player flying an F4 as escort for the A6, which didn't have any air to air weapons, at least in the early stages of the war. If this is a complete boxed copy that nightowl is offering then it comes with a decent, heavy manual, as all flight sims of that era did. FOTI was the forerunner to perhaps the greatest ever PC combat flight sim, Falcon 3.0 / Falcon 4.0. A great game if you like that sort of thing. |
