Default MES E10 light bulb holders

I need to replace the bulb holders and Paxolin strip in the Bush DAC10 I'm currently working on.

Might seem a daft question but how do you connect the bulb holders to the Paxolin strip - I tried using pop rivets but that just destroys the bulb holder base!

That type of holder usually pushes into a rubber grommet.
