Re: ITT-KB CVC5 26" help
Looking very good, slight horizontal shift to the left and a touch of height and you have cracked it

Re: ITT-KB CVC5 26" help
Hi
Agreed - let it settle and use it for a few weeks and see how it looks - you've done all the hard work so at most it will only need a tweak. Enjoy your 'new' TV! Glyn |

Re: ITT-KB CVC5 26" help
Hi. The CVC5 chassis was designed in the UK for the UK market.I spoke to the chief designer once years ago when attending a service lecture.Geometry and convergence should be excellent on 20'' [51cm] and 22''[56cm] sets but wasn't always so good on the 26''[66cm] versions. Defective or dry joint pinchusion coils occasionally cropped up.My own CVC5 [20''] bought new in July 1971 worked in my living room until June 2011 when replaced with a Philips LCD/LED set.The ITT was still working OK but my wife wanted a new set!!!!!!!!!!!!! That picture looks good. Great work with the convergence and that tube looks as new
