Default Hmv 1910

Hi everyone, yesterday I had a go at the HMV 1910 set that I brought a while ago! I am actually pleased to say that it went well. I managed to get a "can" (holding C86, C104 & C105) and I put it all in place. I reconnected the LOPT and that all went well also. I have still yet to get the valves that are missing, and a mains lead, but other than that I am actually quite pleased that I managed to actually repair this set! The innards are much like those old Philips radio's covered in wires! I have also still to check and replace some of the older capacitors and give it a power up but all looks promising at the moment! Thank you everyone for putting up success stories and other beginners threads as without those I doubt I would have gone anywhere!
