PHILIPS VR2840 Video 2000 System unit - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hello:

I have one of those beasts. It plays fine tapes from other units but its recordings play with very bad quality.
I want to make a general servicing, has anyone the service manual to share?

Hi,

I have a copy of the VR2840 service manual. Unfortunately, the PDF file is too large (24MB) for me to email it to you, and the free webspace provided by my ISP is too small to upload the whole file.

I could, however, split the file in two and upload one half at a time. Please let me know if you still require the manual.

I'm Mario from Italy.I have got a Philips vr2840 but unfortunately it not works.When i turn on that, nothing happens.Work only motor capstan.No display no buttons..
