Default English Electric 16T11D

Hi, I have decided to tackle this set and see whether I can get it back to life. I am looking at the power supply and I have replaced the rectifier with a diode and 100r 5w resistor in series and also replaced R169 as it had somehow blown. Upon applying power to the set, I am still having R169 blowing along with the diode and resistor to replace the rectifier. Can anyone help me out with where I should start looking for the fault? I have attached some photographs of the circuit diagram.
Regards

Also the wire from R169 looks pretty fried too, I'd imagine that a short may be occuring somewhere

Thanks for that, it is shorting! I'll get it swapped over and see whether it sorts it out.
