Circuit of PYE VT2 Television
Has some member got a copy of the circuit diagram for the PYE VT2 please? I tried to down load it from "The Valve Page" but there seems to be some sort of problem getting the circuit diagram I tried three or four times but failed. Its just that I saw an article from Matt, one of our members who has the same set and out of pure interest I just wanted to study the circuit of the set, I do not expect it for free, I would pay for the information from who ever has it.
Best wishes Ken |

Re: Circuit of PYE VT2 Television
Infomation for the Pye V2 and VT2 can be found in the 1953/54 Newnes Radio and Television servicing book.
The VT2 was the first 13 channel TV set to marketed in the UK. Shortly after the VT2 appeared in the shops Pye introduced the VT4. The VT2: Along with fitment of the 13 channel tuner the former five channel mixer stage was converted to become a common vision and sound IF amplifier. It means that in theory the VT2 should be a better performer than the 5 channel version. DFWB. |
