Hi,

Is it possible to get a testcard on a channel available on a standard SKY digibox or HD system?

Not sure if they still do it but the test card used to appear with a 5.1 audio test during the preview loop on the BBC HD channel (169) for a couple of minutes every 2 hours.
It is possible to record it on a Sky HD box but not via the EPG, you need to setup a manual timer.

I will try that.
If not will see what sort of a signal I can get out of a freeview box. Analogue/Digital signals not too good here because of the hills - hence our use of SKY.
