Default My pre-war television set now finished.

Here's a picture of my post-1937 Marconiphone 702 in action, with a picture of a lady's maid from the film 'Mrs Miniver' on the screen.

This digital photo has had to be quite heavily post-processed to achieve a good result (ie. the screen image was taken with a separate exposure and superimposed), but it does give quite an accurate impression of how it actually looks to the eye. The tube was better than I thought.

Looks like you've got the front door to my vintage television site there Darius, which isn't the correct link. Try www.radiocraft.co.uk/702.htm and work on from there. You'll see plenty of test cards there which aren't perfect.
