Default BBC MCR21 July adventures!

Hi all

A large number of forum members either follow or support the work of our Trust. The 31st July was the close of our Heritage Lottery Grant and we made a big effort to take MCR21 out and about in this final month.

We managed 3 major visits:-

Wimbledon a return after 58 years
Two weeks at the Amberley Chalk Pits Museum
A display on the piazza outside BBC New Broadcasting House.

The attached PDF gives a first report of the month with lots of pictures and links to more info.

Our next display will be on 3rd Sept at the White Waltham Airfield members day all are welcome, there is a admission charge for non members. West London Aero Club, White Waltham Airfield, Maidenhead, SL6 3NJ .

Enjoy!

Wimbledon after 58 years and New Broadcasting House*

Magnificently appropriate venues to show it!

*(Someone with a wry turn of humour once told me that Repeat Broadcasting House was bigger...)

Only someone who knows the complexity of one of these vehicles can fully appreciate the quantity and quality of the work you have done.

Many congratulations.
