Update on Radiophile and BVWS events
Good afternoon.
I learnt yesterday that the this years great Dorset Steam Fair has been cancelled. This is held at the end of August which surprised me a little as it is still a fair time in the future. Is there any news yet of Radiophile or BVWS events being held during the summer months? I presume that the Radiophile Gnosall event on 17 May is not going to take place though there is no update on their website. Many thanks, Christopher Capener

Re: Update on Radiophile and BVWS events
There is no update on the BVWS RWB event at the end of June yet, but Mike and the committee are monitoring the situation. We may all have a better idea in a week or so, when we hear if there is any lifting of restrictions.
As soon as there is any news on BVWS events it will be posted here and on the front page of the website. |

Re: Update on Radiophile and BVWS events
I can confirm that the Radiophile Action scheduled for 17th May at Gnosall WILL NOT be going ahead.

Re: Update on Radiophile and BVWS events
Hi Geoff,
Is it possible to update the Radiophile website to this effect. As anybody who is not a forum member will not find any information on the website. Regards Trevor. |

Re: Update on Radiophile and BVWS events
Hi Trevor,
I have spoken to Jo Miller who is trying to contact the gentleman who looks after the Radiophile website to have the cancellation notice posted thereon. Hopefully, word will get around in time if we all tell our friends. Best Wishes,

Re: Update on Radiophile and BVWS events
The Forum calendar shows any Radiophile events that have been notified to us.
Currently, there is an auction arranged for the 12th of this month, but in view of current public health conditions it seems unlikely to go ahead. I'll update to this effect unless we're notified to the contrary. Edit: We weren't, but the date has now passed. |
