Default BPO Type 1000 lever keys V. Type 1000 push switches

I have used the former in various projects and devices but I know virtually nothing about the latter type of switch. Were they made for the same sort of applications as the LK ? Was the switch action the same except for push/latching instead of toggling backwards and forwards ?

Many thanks.

Apologies. The latter switches are the Type 2000.

I guess the Type 2000 switches were used on switchboards such as the PABX No.1 version SA8133.
