Default Speaker driver ID please!

Hello All, can anyone identify these, please?
12”, both 15ohm with Made In England cast into the baskets. No other markings except 10/12 on the underside of one cone.
I’ve rigged them up, there is a distinct lack of bass but mid and top end nice and bright.
They belonged to a friend whose late father did mobile discos in the 70’s...

The shape of the basket legs and the enclosed magnet seem like something by Goodmans. The prominent "Made in England" marking is common on Goodmans stuff and 15 Ohms was an impedance they liked in their drivers.

Bass will depend on a suitable cabinet.

Probably from the Eleganzia slimline loudspeaker. The bolt on the magnet and the SUPRFOAM surround reveals it.

They need cabs for the bottom end and maybe a port to tune them in to the right frequency.

I think Roffe has it! Well done!

They seem to be rated at 15W rms, and the cabinets were sealed enclosures in an incredibly slimline presentation: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=102521

All: Thank you so much, your responses are very much appreciated. I’ll either make some cabs or think about fitting them into some vintage Rigonda cabs I have, paired with the original tweeters and a decent crossover. But that’s prob another thread. Ooh I’m excited!
