Default Geloso G4/225 transmitter

hello,
on the tx i have two output tuning controls, tune and load,
tune numbered clockwise from 0 to 10 position
load numbered clockwise from 10 to zero position

tune is in position 0 fully unmeshed
load is in position 10 fully unmeshed

now i wonder if this is correct , maybe someone can provide me with this info,

Hi,
On transmitters I have encountered or built, the tune and load capacitors operate anti-clockwise, with the load capacitor being gradually unmeshed to increase the loading, whilst maintaining a dip in anode current with the tuning capacitor. So, I suppose minimum loading, fully meshed, should be 0.

Cheers

Aub

Hi Carlos,

I have a Geloso G222 and both the tune and load are fully meshed in the 10 position.
The 225 should be the same I think. I will see if I have the manual somewhere, there are tuning instructions which might give another clue.

I see the unit you have is the later SSB transmitter so the orientation of the controls might be different. There is a copy of the manual on the BAMA site

I hope it answers your questions
