Another vintage SC/MP board
Very recently I was sifting the Interweb and unearthed a Swiss site: https://www.computissimo.ch/v-ang/
This seems to be dormant/for sale. But has some interesting items. Especially the UC1003 shown below. It looks like this may be the only information ever available. The board has a 6-digit display so unlikely to be a clone of the NS Introkit. Looks something like the NS SC/MP Development System. |

Re: Another vintage SC/MP board
Ah yes - I came across this a few weeks back as Philoupat83 (of joint SCRUMPI fame) sent me some more boards over including a repro PCB for this and the 300 page manual (too big for here). It has three annexes with a circuit diagram (attached) and listing of the ROMS (also too big for here) - plus a hex file (scmp_emr.txt)

Re: Another vintage SC/MP board
I wonder what the replica pcb designer thought when he saw the edge connector on his new boards?

I am sure he will be along at some point when his headache wears off. There is some rework on the back as well. I have not even attempted to see if I can get half the chips on there.

That's interesting. Thanks for that.
Presumably Philoupat83 has reproduced one of these, so are the schematics his or from the original documentation? I'd assumed from the 'Roumoise' in EMR that this unit is of Romanian origin? |

Still studying.
I think the edge connector on original is a bolt-on double sided 'blade' which has contacts that fit over edge of board both sides and then solder. |

Intel hex conversion, rename to .hex (forum doesnt allow .hex)
