Mother nature made her contribution to the success of the day too, with a wonderfully sunny day enabling most of the time (and the items on offer) to be spent outdoors.

At the risk of infringing copyright, I can't resist posting the article I'm shown reading in Trevor's shed.
Definitely worth a brighter view of the shed.

A very many thanks to Trevor and Judy for wonderful hospitality and excellent food.

I'm glad I made the effort to go, the drive up along the coast from Cairnryan is spectacular. It was great to meet people from the forum as well.

I didn't come away empty handed either, and I must say my favourite piece is this Murphy V330. My first TV from the Murphy outfit, I can see now why they are se well respected.

Best regards to all.

P.S. Apologies to Heatercathodeshort, Dr. Who just happened to be on....

Nice to see the V330 running away there. Theres a couple of things to sort out on it but it's a nice set.
Hope you have fun with the other goodies, I sure am happy with the swaps we did John Joe.

That V330 looks to be a good clean example (at least on the outside.... The inside wasn't on view)

A great get together. "They'd been some days in preparation, A splendid time was guaranteed for all."

Hi.
The V330 was in fact very clean inside and out with its big IF screening can present.... Which is extremely rare.
My old faithful V310 that works like a dream is decidedly dirty inside but it will stay that way as it is spot on in every way and I don't want to upset the old girl.

Hey Trevor, you've certainly put Scotland well & truly on the VR fraternity map now that covid restrictions are past. Congratulations. Shows that VR expertise doesn't just revolve around Wooton Basset, Retrotech, or Golborne, etc. And, well done Judy for all her work in victualing everyone.

Best Regards, David

.
Thanks David.
Indeed it was a great day and even better that we had visitors from Ireland and South of the border.
Norman's meets were always successful as well and to have the first after the restrictions were lifted was a great honour.
Would have liked more from your direction and Judy asked many times if anyone from our day at Boyndie Trust was coming?

I agree, I love the idea of these smaller informal gatherings. Mikey's TV repair open-house is another great example.

Hopefully there will be more of them around the UK, especially in areas where there are no formal meets, if people have the time, space and enthusiasm to organise them.
