The same part / equivalent part in my F70 failed a long time ago when the machine served as my TV tuner as well as video recorder. Failed to come back on after a power cut.

I have this VCR.
The main problem with these VCRs created from leaky capacitors because the cover of the PSU works also as heatsink. Replace all electrolytic capacitors in primary and secondary side. Choose high quality electrolytic at 105 degrees.
