Default White ink pens

I have noticed that Rotring do a white ink gel pen. Has anyone tried them for touching up glass dials, Mullard cards etc?

Gel pens are usually a species of rollerball. As such I think they would be difficult to use on smooth surfaces like glass and plastics. If I remember rightly, they dry by absorbtion, not evaporation, so might take forever to dry on non-absorbent materials.

A better choice could be a fine "paint pen", such as those made by Edding.
