Well this is the latest and going to give these a punt as prewired with resistor already valued and insulated, so saves a lot of messing about in the meantime |

I doubt they use a resistor: these days many LEDs come with a built-in constant-current regulator which allows them to work over a wide range of voltages while maintaining the same luminosity.
The series-resistor thing is very much last-millennium! |

Thanks for the advise on that point, I have dwelled on that prior to your point but wasn't sure if things had progressed that far and maintaining there small size. But very welcome news and as there on order I shall update when its in situ and hope this can then complete what started as a straight forward job turning in to a marathon

Settled for this option and so far so good so purchased a few for the bench stock and uprating and equalling with others around fascia as necessary with Yaesu and Trio receivers that I currently have and all working well as I go along. |
