Thanks peeps.....the stupid thing was... I had two receivers.. one ok, one not, but I was concentrating on the premis of loop problems, although the Filters tuned properly and with identical amplitudes. Even the RF signals from both "tracks" were identical.... its was just the mixer..was'nt......we live and learn.... or should.

Shhhhh don't tell anyone! It'll upset their belief-systems and cause endless bad karma. There isn't a loop in the Wadley system. Sketch the block diagram of the front end and draw arrows to show signal flow and you'll see that there is no circling path at all.
