Hi I had already scanned it but not processed or uploaded so I did a very quick job on the most important parts the circuit and layout and attached them here.

Hopefully it will be enough for you to make a start.

Cheers

Mike, thanks for that. That’ll get me going for sure to do a check up and other things before I fire it up with the isolation transformer, variac and light bulb procedure.

Just wondering, is there a user manual for this as I have never used one before, let alone, seen one before? An interesting looking device though.

Also, I have been given a few other boat anchors by a long retired electronic engineer guy who was going to take them to the skip. I will post up some pics on a new thread ok.

Thanks Mike, much appreciated.

The handbook does contain a user guide as well.

It will take me a few days to pull the file together as due to injury its not easy to work at the desk.

Yes I am sure many members would like to see your boat anchors

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers

45 years ago I bough its predecessor, the 1320. That was band 1 only. It covered something over 10MHz (sorry, Mcs.)and also up to perhaps 60Mcs.
I was able to do FM IF alignment, and using the first overtone, check overall RF alignment.

Thanks for uploading that circuit!

The book by G.W. Parr and O.H. Davie, "The Cathode ray Oscilloscope and It's Applications" (Chapman and Hall, 1959) does show part of that circuit, the crystal oscillator, marker oscillator and the indicator (V5, V6 and V7) but not the rest of it!

Whoever did the book drawing tho' used a bit of artistic licence as the book diagram, altho' correctly marking the eye (V3 in the book) as "64ME", it's shown as a single–shadow type indicator – the 64ME is, of course, the Cossor direct equivalent of our old friend the EM34!

Incidentally, if you download the October 1951 issue of "Electronic Engineering" from the World Radio History website, there's a full circuit of a piece of apparatus used for locating structural faults in roads using ultrasonics, and this uses a variant of the circuitry around V5, V6 and V7 as well!

Hi Folks, I believe I have one of these units, not used in many years, but a useful piece of kit. I also have the manual somewhere.
The output socket was a peculiar co-ax socket that was difficult to source.

I'll have a look for it on my return home
