Eddystone 870A
Hi
Does anyone have service information for an Eddystone 870A, please? Especially, the thermistor and dial light types and alignment info. Also, I need a tuning scale , or a scan of one. Is there any info on remaking tuning scales? Any help gratefully received. John G8JMB |

Re: Eddystone 870A
Hi John,
You'll probably be able to get most of the information you need from the EUG website at http://www.eddystoneusergroup.org.uk/ I have a working 870A and may be able to find the handbook if you get stuck. The dial lights are (from memory) 5 volts at 100mA and they aren't available any more. I use 6.3 volt 100mA ones and the dial lights work, although rather dimly. Unfortunately I don't think my scanner would cope with the dial. Would a good digital photograph help? Phil
