Default Eddystone 870A

Hi
Does anyone have service information for an Eddystone 870A, please?
Especially, the thermistor and dial light types and alignment info.
Also, I need a tuning scale , or a scan of one.
Is there any info on remaking tuning scales?

Any help gratefully received.

Hi John,

You'll probably be able to get most of the information you need from the EUG website at http://www.eddystoneusergroup.org.uk/

I have a working 870A and may be able to find the handbook if you get stuck. The dial lights are (from memory) 5 volts at 100mA and they aren't available any more. I use 6.3 volt 100mA ones and the dial lights work, although rather dimly.

Unfortunately I don't think my scanner would cope with the dial. Would a good digital photograph help?

Phil
