Default Hacker RP37 FM tuning linearity.

I have just purchased an old Hacker Herald from ebay and was wondering if anyone has any data of aligning the front end. If it tune to radio 4 (93.5) the scale is spot on. However when I tune to KissFM the scale is out! Is there a way of correcting this no linearity.
I would also like to see a circuit for this radio, are they avalable?
Thanks.

Hello, Si (?),

You can get the circuit diagram from Paul for £1.99 by e-mail, see here: http://www.service-data.com/email/list/hacker.htm

Try bashing the tuner (gently) as dry joints in these are commonplace and can cause this kind of thing.

Nick.

Well I downloaded the circuit from Paul's site and got twiddling. The oscillator padder needed turning in a bit and the core winding out to bring the scale back on line.
Thanks Nick (and Paul)!
