On Facebook marketplace in Bristol for £10 - not connected to me and I am completely ignorant of its value

That's a very good price.

Used to see them for pennies on radio rally stalls in the 1980s. But that was then and this is now.

The dial drive and tuning capacitor make a superb foundation for a VFO and saves some value from the bin, if someone is clearing space.
