Default Benefit Shop Auction - New York

I've had an email from the organisers of the Benefit Shop Auction(s) in Mount Kisco, NY.
They take donated items from the executors of wealthy estates. The donors get a tax deduction and the funds go to local charities.
It's almost certainly too expensive to ship any of these items to the UK, but there are some interesting radios in the catalogue.
And maybe some of our US forum members might be tempted.

Not a sensible purchase, but do check out lot 0314 - the Fireplace Radio. I've never seen one of those before!

The Fireplace radio is, well, just ugly.
And all the brass tools for a non working fire place, why?
Its huge, with a very unimpressive looking 3 valve? radio stuck round the side.

Richard.
