Re: Songs with Morse code references.
There's a piece of music that's James Bond related, called "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" which spells out the letters OHMSS in Morse. I have it on a CD by The Propellerheads. I can't remember if it was used in a film.

The beginning of 'Windpower' by Thomas Dolby has what sounds like Morse Code on it. I bought the single back then - 1982 !

Re: Songs with Morse code references.
I suppose the obvious one is the theme to TV comedy Some Mothers Do 'ave 'em, in which the piccolos spell the title tune in morse.

Reputedly, Barrington Pheloung, who composed both the theme tune and the incidental music, worked other morse code messages into some of the incidental music of the series.

OMD Telegraph, and possibly others on the Dazzle Ships album, I don't think there is any real morse but the tune sort of emulates morse.

Amarok, Mike Oldfield's thirteenth album, features a profanity hidden in Morse code, directed at Richard Branson. At the time of recording Oldfield's relationship with Virgin / Branson had deteriorated, which is likely the reason behind such an action.

"Two-Four-Two Foxtrot (The Lear Jet Song)" by The Byrds has the Morse ID for Los Angeles airport running in the background superimposed over cockpit checks and R/T for taxi-out and take-off clearance.

I don't hear that, what I copy is: HÜ HU HFFU (I had to look up the U-umlaut character) I know, I'm probably not applying nearly as much artistic licence as Ron Goodwin anticipated.

Re: Songs with Morse code references.
All the old generation Nokias I owned (like the classic 3310) sounded 'Dit Dit Dit__Dah Dah__Dit Dit Dit' (S M S) on receipt of a text message. I imagine most people who owned them didn't realise it spelled SMS, it was just the 'incoming message sound'.
