Default Microwave modules 2 metre preamp for FT290

Hi peeps.
Just bought a Yaesu FT290R Multimode 2 metre transceiver..... I understand there is a RF front end module by Microwave modules that retro fitted the FT290.
Has anyone got details, eg schematic of said item please.

I don't recall the MM one, but there was a Mutek pre-amp, a small add-on board

Someone offered a Mutek front end for the 290 in 'items offered' just recently, I don't know if it went.

Hi peeps. Since I posted the above.. I found various Microwave modules, combining a 30 / 100 W Linear with Fet RX pre amp..... I have down loaded the data, and when my FT290 arrives on friday ish..I will test it and see where I go from there..
Thanks for the comments.

Hi its me. The Mutek board went. I now have 2 ft-290’s. One with the mutek board and one modded by amateur radio exchange. I also picked up the other day a microwave modules 30watt linear with preamp which I may sell Wendy. Havent decided yet

My 290 is the 'R2' (MK2) version which has the (optional) FL-2025 25W linear which clips on in place of the battery box. No preamp though. The linear alone seems to be worth XXX.

I'm quite staggered by the amount still being asked for these radios, even just the basic set. As with so many things retro, I think there must be a nostalgia angle to it, people who once had one, wanting to revisit their past.

Re popularity, I was told they make a good driver for a transverter for folk who play with GHz.
