G3PY is listed in Jack Hum's prewar callbook to Mr S. Torkington at Hadfield, also in 1965, 1970 and 1985 RSGB callbooks at Glossop, - gone in 1993 book. G3+2 letter callsigns were issued 1937-1938 Kind regards Dave |

It was a long time ago when I was in Cambridge using a VHF PFX (thanks to the lads at Pye Telecom for liberating the set) programmed for 2M and whistling the 1750Hz to open GB?PI. My first handheld, 1986 ish.
