Default Another little Tripletone

Here's one with a nice back story. The cabinet originally housed a console wind-up gramophone and, when the owner upgraded, he fitted a BSR auto and this little Tripletone 'Convertible', together with Plessey 4" driver.

The amp is seen here lashed up and playing CDs into one of the Expert Acoustic Columns I got from Mel. Just one repair - 'that' capacitor and it sounds very sweet.

I intend to re-instate it in the old cabinet with a better TT and switched socket for a CD player. The cabinet is not really suitable as a speaker enclosure as it is composed of a frame and very thin panels - so I shall probably mount a decent little bookshelf speaker behind the grille.
