Default AVO EA113 Documentation

While fault finding my recently acquired EA113 it soon became apparent that the servicing documentation was lacking in both quality and quantity. so much so that I decided to do something about it.

So far I have completed a component layout diagram for the switch board. Currently I am working on the main circuit diagram where component values and tag numbers are being added.

As usual other things are getting in the way so it will be a while before it is completed. I will post it up when it is done. Meanwhile I have attached a copy of the comp assy.

Hi Al

I have 5 EA113s, or is it 6? Anyway, one is in pieces and has been for ages. What you are doing will make my life so much easier!

I have mused with the idea of making a test rig. One where you strip down the instrument and then 'reassemble' it with the rig connectors and wiring extending all the component parts physically so that you can get at all the components. The meter was never designed for easy maintenance!

As ever I am now fired up and would publish the design or perhaps lend out the final rig to others. Probably I'll add it to my list of projects!

Cheers
James
