Default Pioneer ct-f4040

Hi guys
I have a problem with my cassette player pioneer ct f4040 auto stop works if playing or rewinding but if it’s fast forwarding or play and record it doesn’t just keeps trying and never automatically stops. It used to work till recently the tape counter isn’t moving if that helps.

Thanks in advance
Mickoz

There’s a small white plastic piece inside the player level with the pause button, if I press it down lightly it stops it, so I lubed it and now it’s working fine.
