A spot of sealing wax or candle wax works well, as long as it can be dug out again

Thanks Ed, I’d be concerned that candle wax would be a tad too tricky to remove.

I wonder if Polyfilla or similar might do the trick?

Back in the day we used wax from old wax coated capacitors, also used the same stuff for attaching screws/nuts to a screwdriver when long reach or awkward fixing was called for.

I think candle wax was used in the day, it will easily melt out with a hot screwdriver
