It may be of interest to you, that when I restored my "Bush PB63" some years ago, I found I could get a worthwhile increase in the bass response, by increasing the value of the interstage coupling capacitor, between the valves :- '354V' and 'AC044', from 0.01uF to 0.022uF. All other coupling/decoupling paper and electrolytic capacitors when changed, were to manufacturers value specs., or the nearest preferred values to them.
