Default Parts from Marks & Spencer.

I have found a surprisingly useful vintage radio part from M & S. If you buy a pack of their “six soft white floured baps”, these are packed on a translucent stiff plastic sheet, which is ideal for making scale diffusers such as the one used on the Bush DAC90A. A pack of six of these bread rolls yields a piece approx. 10.75” x 7.5” - big enough for most radios.

The bread is not up to much – best given to the ducks.

Leon.

Hi Leon

I remember a Radio Amateur (Now Silent Key) using a biscuit tin lid for a ground plane for his Two metre aerial.
He got the nickname Biscuit and crumbs!
Why not build an AM Modulator in a M&S Strong mints
tin?
