Wire wrap bit and sleeve info request for RS 540-075
I have a brand new bit and sleeve for a powered wire-wrapping tool. It was something I purchased (in error) from RS about 20 years ago and kept it with the intention of motorising it.
The RS part number is 540-075 and no longer in catalogue. I would be grateful if anyone has an old catalogue and could identify what brand of tool this bit and sleeve would fit. I admit my enquiry is 'commercial' in the sense that I am hoping to sell the item as whilst wire wrapping is no longer a mainstream activity it does still have its followers. Ian |

I don`t have an RS catalogue that old but I remember that they did a range of OK wirewrap tools similar to this:-

This is a picture of what I have, I think it is probably a part manufactured by OK and might fit the same power tool in your reply.

Yes, that looks pretty familiar, I think it would fit most OK tools that I have seen and probably others as well.
