Powder coating tele 150 case
Hi Telephony peeps,
I have a tele 150. There are a few small rust spots on it and I am thinking about powder coating the case ie. The round top of base section and the empty pillar houseing) Is this a bad thing in terms of the collectability and the value? Also, it looks like the pillar housing can be unscrewed from the base case, can anyone confirm this is so? thanks, Ray |

Re: Powder coating tele 150 case
I have answered the question about the threaded pillar asy and yes it, see pic
I have also decided against powder coating and will enjoy the rust spots along with the rest of the patina. |

Good choice. It looks in very good original condition. I'd give it nothing more than a wipe over with a bit of light oil on an old rag.
