Panasonic NV-F70B owners manual needed
Hi
Has anyone still got the above manual as I need to tune the channels. I cannot find one anywhere for the b model or if someone knows the tuning procedure I would really appreciate that. Thanks Mark |

You won't be able to tune the channels as there are no analogue TV signals being transmitted (and this unit has no digital tuner)- or have I misunderstood you?

Re: Panasonic nv-f70b owners manual needed
Unless it's just for experimentation purposes, the standard procedure would be to bypass the tuner and hook up the Freeview box direct to the (recorder's) A/V input. At least that way you can take advantage of Hi-Fi stereo recordings, and with a slightly improved picture..

Re: Panasonic NV-F70B owners manual needed
I have tried various ways of connecting the vcr to my Sony oled Tv with little success. I have hdmi ports and a 3.5 mn video/sound av port. I bought a scart to hdmi box which was rubbish, 3.5 mm to 3 analog jacks into scart plug which was also unsuccessful. The Tv will accept analog tuner inputs and this is how the vcr is connected now. On back of vcr is rf, sound jacks and a bnc for video. Can I put a bnc to av plug adapter and try this through av input on tv?

Re: Panasonic NV-F70B owners manual needed
Try testing the TV's A/V port with another device. You should be able to get it to work so long as the breakout cable is the correct one for the TV. Most likely you will have to manually change over to the A/V input via the TV's remote control.
Again, it should be relatively easy to hook up using a SCART to A/V break-out cable, or a SCART to RCA adaptor (on the Freeview box side), wired to the recorder's respective Video and Audio In sockets (select A/V input to receive). Same with the TV side.
