The name counts for something, I'm sure.

But the nice thing about Creek is the small product line up and that the specs for their products are comprehensive in a way that is totally refreshing. For example https://www.creekaudio.com/products/...rs/voyage-i20/

During the late '70s, Mike Creek designed the metalwork for the Ambit Mk III tuner & companion power amplfier ... he was part of the ad-hoc team based at Gresham Road/North Service Road, Brentwood that was managed by the brilliant William Poel.

The nature of the original post is entirely typical of Mike's approach to business i.e. the Customer is king

The voyage at £4500 better be exceptional if not outstanding!

I was looking for a price but couldn’t find one. Out of my league both financially and acousticaly, my ears would not be able to tell the difference between that and a portable radio.

Am I the only one wondering why the fuses blew?

The usual way it works is that the silicon blows to protect the fuse.

If they're the originals, they might have expired through old age.
