Default Mend it for money Radio and record player!

I didn't see this at 5pm on Ch4 but it's repeated at 7pm on 47 [CH 48]. Sorry about the late notice!

You could be right Donald but the Radio Times thought it was two separate items. They've combined the sarcastic commentary of CH4's "Everyone back for dinner!" with the BBC original in this copy. It's strange how anything vaguely electrical always baffles them! "I think I understand that". Why not? He was only pointing out that different valves having different functions after all

£600 he got for what was left of it Dave, how did that happen?

Those women were rather emotional when the phone played "The Buggles" I think it goes
#We've just destroyed your radiogram,
#We've just destroyed your radiogram.

I was crying with them.

Given what they did to that baffle, I have to ask, was that an intentional pun?

To be fair I think even the restorer guy (mark?) was somewhat unconvinced about the upholstery lady's choice of speaker cloth

Hopefully this thread won't turn into another Repair Shop / Money for Nothing diatribe.

best regards ... Stef

Well, this thread's given everyone a heads-up if they want to watch it and fume a little. The repair shop thread has exhausted all we can say about these things, and if we say them all over again, it just dilutes the original information content of the forum.

Let's not fall into the style of that woman who watched television avidly, looking for things that she could get highly offended by.

Let's just take the diatribes as read.
