BRC3000 help
Hello all.
Just having a cursory glance in the back of a HMV 2703 set, BRC3000 chassis - dead on arrival. There is one board on the top (sorry for the lack of pictures) with four wires attached to a 6 pin female connector - the wires are red, green, black and red and green.... and I can't see ANYWHERE that it might have originally been plugged into. Seems like the set has been messsed with before my ownership. Anyone know, or got any drawings etc for this set? - would be really useful as I've got nothing here! Thanks in advance. |

Re: BRC3000 help
Ahh. I think I see now.
I'm missing a whole board -_- the one on the left that should have the huge strip connector. No wonder it doesn't work! Where am I going to find one of those? |

Re: BRC3000 help
Is this the HMV that was recently on eBay?
I was bidding for it but stopped at 30 pounds. I did e mail the seller before bidding and he confirmed the set was complete! The part that is missing sounds like the power supply board (top LHS) It has a connector strip that plugs into the chassis on the extreme top RHS and a 6 way socket that connects to the LTB on the top LHS. |

Re: BRC3000 help
It is indeed the power supply board and luckily remained common and interchangeable throughout the 3000/3500 production run.
Good luck with it.
