Old TV's alive.
Not just in England but the US as well.
Could become trendy soon to have a CRT in the home . https://www.theverge.com/2018/2/6/16...gaming-vintage |

Re: Old TV's alive.
It seems there is a small market for 90's TV's, mostly for "retro gamers".
Personally, I do have a small collection of 70's to 90's sets, but my passion will always be 40's & 50's sets. Mark |

Re: Old TV's alive.
Well I just thought I would post that link up at least there ARE others out there doing the same to preserve TV's not sure if the tubes are being manufactured anymore . That was a complex process !.
In years to come it could become trendy and prices will rocket on old retro TV, who knows. |

Maybe, but I'm not holding my breath. Vinyl has a nostalgia value and the equipment is small and tactile, but, with a few exceptions a big chipboard or plastic box in the corner isn't quite as trendy.
Of course TVs from the Fifties and earlier can be quite pretty, but would be akin to a vinyl enthusiast having a wind-up gramophone. |

I still have a few of those, plus the larger ones. Can't bring myself to get rid of them. My repair bench beside me uses a Sony PVM for no good reason!

I too, am ready for the trend
Most of my stuff has been in fashion on more than one occasion, values seemingly vary with the seasons/'current' trend. Me? Never been in fashion, and yet, never out of date. Mark
