I find them not exactly fragile but somehow wobbly and easily pulled out. If I am restoring an amp and it is possible I replace them with the type that lock onto bare flex.

Actually Paul, they're not the output transistors, they are the speaker Din sockets.

I have one in the workshop, it's quite good but but needs a service (when I can be bothered)
