Two Televisions To Identify
Attached are two pictures taken at Cane Hill Hospital during the 1960s.
Note the radio on the wall in the second picture. Cane Hill had a relay fitted to it's water tower to improve reception in Coulston.

Re: Two Televisions To Identify
First picture: looks like a five channel rectangular 14" CRT set of the type made about 1953/54. Philips 1446U perhaps?
The other set has a 19" CRT so was made after 1961. The radio: Philips? Sharpened up pictures. DFWB. |

Is that a Pye R33 radio on the shelf in the second photo?

Re: Two Televisions To Identify
I first heard about it getting interested in urbexing a few years ago.
Recently I was checking out some old bookmarks & one site where someone had managed to compile all the could find about Cane Hill. Unfortunately they haven't updated it since the demolition. These pictures are some they had found
