Default Grundig Yacht Boy 210(?)

In a charity shop in Marlborough. Looks a bit worn but not damaged. Ticket price £30 but I reckon they would take a reasonable offer. PM if you want details on location etc.

Nice to see it has both original tone control knobs, often damaged or missing. Check the tuning control works, as they are often seized with hard grease on these sets, may get anyone a few more pounds off.

I wonder if it has the mains convertor in the battery compartment?

John.

The Yacht-Boy is a nice radio with very good sound for it's size - but of course that was always the Grundig way!

IF and discriminator sections are a bit of a sod to work on, as they're all sealed up in a metal can with lots of metal tabs soldered to PCB.
