ITT/KB record player with satellite stereo spkr/amp
This is a pic of the socket which connects the RP to its satellite speaker amp for stereo - what kind of plug is needed? A mini-jack fits but it is loose and not very effective.

I think that is a 3.5mm mono jack plug.

Hi, it looks like an older style 3.5 mm jack socket these don't mate well with newer plugs. You may be able to find an older style plug on eBay or similar alternatively you may have to replace the socket for something more suitable.

Re: ITT/KB record player with satellite stereo spkr/amp
We had a thread on this about 6 months ago. Basically the older 3.5mm mono jacks has a slightly different tip type so today's type are a sloppy fit.
You may be able to tighten the fit by using pliers to gently squeeze the socket's internal contacts closer.

Thank you gentlemen - I shall root around in the drawers - I shall be surprised if I can't find one. Please see new thread for separate issue with same RP!
