Default Alba CB H2 No sound

The Alba CB H2 powers up and I can see the meter swinging as it's receiving a signal but there's no sound nor hiss. I've even checked the squelch.

Does anyone have schematics for this one?

You need to get inside it with a meter, it will quite likely be the audio output IC or transistors.

Have you got a microphone connected? The received audio often passes through the PTT.

Has it got a headphone/extension speaker socket? The speaker cut out contacts on these often fail. If it has one and works if you plug in headphones it will be the jack faulty.

Is this one of the ones with a flat clear plastic diaphragm speaker? They have a habit of going open-circuit. Tried measuring the speaker coil resistance?
