Help with Dansette Conquest Auto PCB connections.
Hi all, i've read many, many posts here and have found a wealth of useful information. Now I have to ask for some help!
I have a Dansette Conquest Auto 14.4 (the 2 valve version) and as I was replacing the caps, the two wires from the transformer (yellow and black) have become disconnected from the PCB and I've no idea where they connect to! I normally take photos but in this case I didn't. Really dumb, I know. Help! There is a picture attached. Thanks. |

Re: Help with Dansette Conquest Auto PCB connections.
So far as I can make out, looking at the photo:
Black to the leftmost vertical track (ground) connect it near to where the two brown link wires are soldered to that track. Yellow to the pad that's at the end of the track near the bottom right corner, that track is connected to pin 3 of the upper most valve and pin 4 of the lower most valve. EDIT: An original place to connect the Black: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...6&d=1372581449 The Yellow is shown here in this topside view: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...5&d=1318327782 Both the links are in this thread: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=178385 Lawrence. Re: Help with Dansette Conquest Auto PCB connections.
It's always good to take many photos (from different angles) of the inside of any equipment before touching it as you may not easily find reference photos online.
I've also learned this the hard way...
