Without wishing to "kick off" a debate about bandwidth measurement /specification, you should be able to keep within an acceptable 6Khz bandwidth with careful design.

The license conditions do not specify how the 6Khz bandwidth is measured but I would have thought it would not be difficult to achieve with a single band rig acceptable bandwidth at least 30 db down.
