Default Murphy - B40 are these original knobs?

Hi all,

Simple question really are the knobs shown in the attached picture original or not?
When I brought the set I thought not but, I have now seen many others with them I'm now not sure.

Thanks

TYJ

Hello TYJ

My B40c has slightly different knobs to those. Mine are like this i.e. flat topped with a groove in the form of a circle in the top. Which version of the B40 is yours?

John

They look like Eddystone knobs. (TYJ)

John,

It's a B40c, presumably like yours, and I expected "grooved" knobs however lie I said I've seen several fitted with the smooth type.

Hi

Certainly looks like a pair of Eddystone 'Elephant foot' knobs to me too,
but a simple check would be to take them off, and check the underside.
I've just looked at a plain one (without the pointer), and it's marked
Eddystone Radio 3146P in the recess near the middle.

Kind regards

Dave,

I'll check that, if I can get them off as there is little left of the grub screw.

Thanks
