Philips 830C schematic / layout drawing wrong?
Guy's, following the circuit on this 830C, comparing the schematic to component layout.
I believe that chokes S1/2, S3 are in the wrong location on the layout drawing. On the layout the large choke on the under carriage is marked as S1/S2, but only 2 connections, after following the wiring this is S3. The smaller choke on the top of the chassis is marked as S3, this is S1/S2 - it has 4 connections and wiring traces out as per the circuit diagram. Had me confused, but, getting there - slowly Does anyone agree with this? |

Re: Philips 830C schematic / layout drawing wrong?
As from models with the code letter C and F, the chokes S1/2 and S3 changed places. See a.o. the
830C model page in Radiomuseum.org. |

Thanks Gidi
I have been informed that this set was made in England by Philips. Will attempt an upload to RadioMuseum |
